What is Space Race?
What
Space Race offers Huntsville-based businesses an exciting opportunity to connect with their employees and their families in a fun, active, and inclusive environment. Participants can enjoy a 5K race or walk, compete in cornhole, play mini-golf, tailgate, and more! This event is the perfect way to strengthen team bonds while creating lasting memories with coworkers and loved ones.
Where
Space Race takes off from the iconic Big Spring Park, with a scenic course winding through Huntsville’s vibrant downtown. At the heart of the action is our “Mazda Toyota BizHubble” tailgate village, located within the park’s perimeter—a lively hub for pre- and post-race fun. Whether you’re a corporate participant or an individual runner, the BizHubble is the perfect spot to relax, connect, and celebrate.
Registration
No walk-up or paper registrations will be accepted. ALL participants must register online beforehand. Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another year. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to extreme conditions such as weather. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to "Acts of God" or things outside of the control of the Race Director.

Weather Policy
Space Race will happen rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the Executive Race Committee will make the call on the race. Communication and updates will be made via email and social media regarding severe weather. Please check your email and social media on race day for real-time updates on the status of the race. Entry fees are non-refundable, even in the case of event cancellation.
